Hatta started his illustrious trance DJ career in ’96. The range of activities he covers in the scene are colorful and varied – being a distributor of dance music media in Japan for over a decade, organizing the trance stage of the famous Nagisa Music Festival, as well as founding Grasshopper Records, and heading its A&R/management. His festival track record is awe-inspiring, to say the least – covering countless acclaimed gatherings across Asia, North/Central/South America, the Middle East, and Europe. He has also put together a plethora of compilations: three volumes of the “V.A./ROUND OF NIGHT” series and his label’s tenth anniversary opus, “V.A./TEN YEARS OF GRASSHOPPER.” 2019 already has a host of local and international tours in store for him, plus a legion of releases.
